The Ask: USAA wanted to honor fallen soldiers in a big way.
The Solve: We created the USAA Poppy Wall as an installment in Washington D.C. The poppy wall is a tribute to each of the more than 645,000 U.S. service members lost in the line of duty since World War I.
My Role: Creative direction / concept
THE POPPY CUBE: Building on the popularity of the wall installation, we developed the mobile 'Poppy Cube'—an interactive exhibit that traveled to museums and events. Using Kinect technology, visitors could wave their hands to move digital poppy flowers, revealing powerful statistics from each war.
